While I was having my morning coffee in the butterfly garden, a Cooper's Hawk harvested one of our doves and flew into one of the pine trees. The hawk was sucking air, for a few minutes, because the dove was so large for it to handle. It then flew off into our woodlot and out of view.

SWALLOW-TAILED KITE
I got some great shots of a kite right after it snagged a snake from a tree top. I have shots of them eating frogs and lizards, but this is my first snake.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN
Obviously there are a lot of watercraft in the Caribbean area. When the wildlife was not cooperating, I collected a variety of crafts.

BOBCAT
I went to Palm Bluff this morning to photograph wild turkeys. I didn't see or hear a single turkey. I did set up and try
some predator calling. Low and behold, a Bobcat came in to the call.
Inside of 20 yards, it didn't seem to mind me snapping away. Mornings
like this is why I love nature photography, you never know what is
around the corner.
Looking up at the caller that is about two feet above.
