WEST REGIONAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY - VERO BEACH

I went to Vero Beach to photograph the Snail Kites in hopes of collecting a male.  There were a pile of kites, but I didn't see a mature male.  The River Otters stole the show.

MERRITT ISLAND NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE

We went down to Merritt Island NWR Wednesday afternoon.  It was raining and not the best light for great photography.

NORTH SHORE OF LAKE APOPKA WILDLIFE DRIVE

I had an early morning dropoff in Orlando, so I cruised by Lake Apopka on the way  home.  Great variety of wildlife in the wetlands.

Gray-headed Swamphen  I've never seen that species before.
