INDEPENDENCE DAY - JULY 4TH

We watched the fireworks at Port Orange during the evening of the 4th.  The whole time I was thinking about the soldiers of the 2nd Brigade of the 10th Mountain Division that were recently deployed to Afghanistan.. My brother Jim Gamble is with them.  They are protecting the freedom of the Afghanistan people and protecting us from those that would do us harm.  Hats off to the all of those Americans stationed around the world. protecting our freedom and the freedom of our allies.  Here is the celebration.

SCARLET-BODIED WASP MOTH

Tonight a new moth visited the Confederate Jasmine before the sphinx moths appears.  It is one of the prettiest insects in Florida.  Judge for yourself.
