For the last 5-6 years, we have had Ruby-throated Hummingbirds nesting near or on our property.  I put out the feeders in mid-March and have only seen the ocassional hummingbird.  This morning I hung around the yard from 6:30 AM til 10 AM.  On my way out to get the newspaper, a mature male Ruby-throated Hummingbird was at the north feeder.  I set up camp in a chair and watched the male come back to the feeder four times.  A female came in and worked both our red and white honeysuckle bushes near the feeder.  After 8:30 AM, I switched to the southern feeder on the other side of the house and two females showed up numerous time.  Below are some of the best photos of the day.
